Since our founding, HARIO has planned, manufactured, and sold heat-resistant glass “HARIO Glass®︎.”
We are Japan’s only manufacturer with its own heat-resistant glass factory.
We began by manufacturing and selling laboratory chemicals. In 1948, leveraging the properties of heat-resistant glass and the glass processing techniques honed through laboratory chemicals, we started producing coffee siphons.
From there, we expanded into the household sector. Today, aiming to create products loved and found convenient in homes, not limited to glass,
we utilize various materials and offer a wide range of products.
Furthermore, since the 1980s, we have also entered the field of automotive lighting lenses as industrial glass.
Our product range includes coffee-related appliances, tea-related appliances for black tea, Japanese tea, and herbal tea,
and kitchenware such as microwave-safe cookware.
For the next 100 years, we wish to continue adding color to the lives of everyone who cherishes HARIO.
We will redouble our efforts to create “that one favorite piece.”
